System recycling the fulfilled gases (EGR)

The general information

For the purpose of issue decrease in atmosphere of oxides of nitrogen the engine design provides tap of a part of the fulfilled gases in the inlet pipeline through valve EGR. Such подмешивание the fulfilled gases to an air-fuel mix leads to decrease in temperature of its combustion. Besides valve EGR the system structure includes also the electromagnetic operating valve and the converter противодавления (ВРТ).

The main component of system is valve EGR which operation is provided at the expense of transferred ВРТ from the case of a throttle of depression. By means of ВРТ updating of depth of depression according to requirements of the engine in подмешивании the fulfilled gases, defined ECM on the basis of signals of various information gauges is carried out.

Operation of the electromagnetic operating valve is made at the command of ECM taking into account current operational parametres of the engine. The valve serves for opening/closing of the vacuum line connecting ВРТ with a diaphragm of valve EGR.

Valve EGR

The general information

Valve EGR is located between a final collector and the inlet pipeline. At the command of ECM, transferred through the electromagnetic operating valve, valve EGR opens and on its diaphragm pressure from the throttle case then strictly dosed out part of the fulfilled gases goes to the inlet pipeline moves.

Removal and installation


1. Remove the delivery chamber of an air path (see Has undressed the Regulator of pressure of fuel - the general data of the Head of the Power supply system and release).
2. Disconnect from valve EGR a vacuum hose.
3. Turn out bolts of fastening of valve EGR on the inlet pipeline.
4. Remove valve EGR.
5. Installation is made upside-down. Do not forget to replace a sealing lining, track, that all fixture has been tightened with demanded effort (18.6 1.5 Nanometers).


Do not wash out valve EGR with any solvents! Do not clamp valve EGR in a vice! Do not forget to replace a sealing lining!


1. For removal of the adjournment accumulating on a surface of a saddle of the valve, slightly обстучите the case of the last a hammer with soft brisk, - have control over the valve. Shake out from the valve formed as a result обстукивания dust.
2. A wire nozzle smooth out interfaced surfaces of the valve and the inlet pipeline.
3. Wring out a valve diaphragm. Having glanced in an exhaust outlet, make sure of cleanliness of a working surface of a saddle of the valve, - in case of need once again обстучите the valve.
4. A small screw-driver cautiously clean a final aperture of the valve.
5. Blow the valve for the purpose of removal from it small dust.
6. Clean also inlet aperture EGR in the inlet pipeline.



1. Systems EGR connected with lock-out refusals can lead to infringement of stability of turns of the engine idling and during an acceleration, to decrease приемистости and to increase of the expense of fuel.
2. First of all make sure of serviceability of a condition, reliability of fastening and correctness of a lining of all vacuum hoses of system EGR. The damaged components replace.
3. Disconnect a vacuum hose from valve EGR.
4. Start the engine and leave its working on single turns.
5. By means of the manual vacuum pump create on the valve depression, - if depression is not kept by the valve, hence, its diaphragm is torn. At a serviceable diaphragm stability of turns of idling of the engine should be broken (up to full останова), otherwise check up passableness of connecting path EGR.
6. Remove valve EGR from the inlet pipeline (see above) and again create in it depression, - if the valve does not open, replace it.
7. If the valve opens regularly that proves to be true possibility of its purge, hence, the cause of a failure lies in infringement of passableness of lines of a connecting path. Check up passableness of submitting tube EGR.

Electromagnetic operating valve EGR

The general information

The electromagnetic valve is located between ВРТ and valve EGR. The valve opens on signal ECM, providing with that transfer of pressure from the throttle case through ВРТ on valve EGR diaphragm.

Removal and installation

If the stereosystem established on the car is equipped by a security code before to disconnect the battery make sure that have a correct combination for audiosystem input in action!


1. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.
2. Remove the delivery chamber of an air path (see Has undressed the Regulator of pressure of fuel - the general data of the Head of the Power supply system and release).
3. Disconnect from electromagnetic valve EGR vacuum hoses and electroconducting.
4. Turn out a bolt of fastening of electromagnetic valve EGR on the inlet pipeline.
5. Remove the electromagnetic valve.

Installation is made upside-down. Track, that the fixing bolt has been tightened with demanded effort (15.7 1.5 Nanometers).

The converter противодавления (ВРТ)

The general information

ВРТ it is established between the case of a throttle and electromagnetic operating valve EGR and serves for adjustment of depth of the depression transferred from the throttle chamber on valve EGR. At adjustment such parametres, as a corner of opening throttle заслонки, pressure of the fulfilled gases, etc. are considered

Removal and installation


1. Disconnect from ВРТ vacuum hoses.
2. Remove the converter from a basic arm.
3. Installation is made upside-down.

Check of serviceability of functioning of system EGR


1. At the working, heated-up engine to normal working temperature lift frequency of rotation of a cranked shaft from 3500 to 4000 rpm and track moving of a rod of valve EGR.
2. In process of increase of turns the valve rod should move upwards. At release throttle заслонки the rod should return to a starting position.
