1. Open a cowl.
2. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.
|
|
If the stereosystem established on the car is equipped by a security code before to disconnect the battery make sure that have a correct combination for audiosystem input in action! |
3. Remove the fan of system of cooling in gathering with the casing.
4. Remove ручейковый приводной a belt (belts) (Routine maintenance see the Head).
5. Remove a belt of drive ГРМ (the Engine see the Head).
6. Remove assemblage натяжителя газораспределительного a belt (the Engine see the Head).
7. Remove the gauge of an angle of rotation of a camshaft.
8. Remove a cogwheel of the left camshaft (the Engine see the Head).
9. Remove the left back section of a cover газораспределительного a belt.
10. Remove an arm натяжителя газораспределительного a belt.
11. Disconnect from assemblage of the water pump bottom радиаторный a hose and a hose of system of heating of salon.
12. Disconnect from the pump a hose of giving of a cooling liquid to маслоохладителю (models with a turbo-supercharging).
13. Remove assemblage of the water pump. |

Check
|
|
| 1. Check up smoothness of rotation of the bearing of the pump.
2. Check up приводной a pump pulley on presence of signs of mechanical damages. In case of need make replacement.
3. With the help циферблатного a measuring instrument estimate size axial люфта крыльчатки. Limiting admissible value makes 0.5 mm (Specifications see).
4. With the help probeа лезвийного type measure backlash size between крыльчаткой and the pump case. Compare results of measurement to requirements of Specifications. In case of need replace the pump in gathering.
5. After pump installation on the engine check up it on presence of signs of development of leaks through shaft consolidation, - in case of revealing of those replace assemblage. |

Installation

| 1. Installation is made in an order, the return to a dismantle order. Do not forget to replace a sealing lining and a ring. Fixing bolts are tightened with demanded effort (10 14 Nanometers) in strictly certain order. |
|
| 2. On termination of installation start the engine and check up it on presence of extraneous noise and signs of leaks of a cooling liquid. |
