Check of serviceability of functioning of system of electronic injection

Remember that gasoline is extremely an inflammable liquid!

At work with power supply system components observe all taken measures of fire safety.

Do not smoke! Do not come nearer to a place of work with open fire or the redurable not protected by a lamp shade!

Do not make system service in the premises equipped working on natural gas and heating devices equipped with a control torch (such as водогреи and dryers for clothes).

Do not forget that gasoline is among cancerogenic substances, i.e., - the substances promoting development of a cancer!

Try not to suppose fuel hit on open sites of a body, use rubber protective gloves, at casual unforeseen contact to fuel carefully wash out hands warm water with soap.

Immediately collect the spilt fuel and do not put the rags impregnated with PETROLEUM PRODUCTS near to sources of open fire.

Remember that the power supply system equipped with injection of fuel of models constantly is under pressure.
Before to start a detachment of fuel lines, dump residual pressure in system.

At service of components of the power supply system put on goggles. Constantly hold near at hand the class fire extinguisher In!


1. Check up reliability of fastening of electric connections of a chain of system of injection, special attention giving to a condition of plugs of grounding. Attentively examine all systems concerning functioning electric sockets. Infringement of quality of electric contacts involves set of problems and is at the bottom more than half of engine failures.
2. Check up level of a charge of the battery. Accuracy of management of structure of an air-fuel mix to a great extent depends on serviceability of functioning ЕСМ and the information gauges, defined, including, and level of pressure of their food.
3. Check up a condition of a filtering element of an air cleaner (Routine maintenance see the Head) - even partial infringement of passableness of the air filter makes essential impact on profitability of the expense of fuel and efficiency of return of the engine.
4. If the safety lock of system of injection is beaten out, replace it, - if the new safety lock also fails at once, address to schemes of electric connections (the Onboard electric equipment see the Head) and check up a corresponding electric chain on presence of signs of short circuit on weight.
5. Check up connecting air cleaner and the inlet pipeline an air sleeve on presence of signs of development of the leaks conducting to pauperisation of an air-fuel mix. Also check up a condition of the vacuum hoses connected to the inlet pipeline.
6. Disconnect the air sleeve going from the case of a throttle and check up last on presence of traces нагарообразования and other adjournment (in particular on sites near to throttle заслонки). In case of revealing of signs of pollution of a throttle, address to materials of Chapter 6 and make diagnostics of malfunctions of systems PCV and EGR. Process a throttle one of types of special cleaning aerosols, suitable for the use on equipped catalyticи converters and oxygen gauges cars, wipe the processed surfaces pure rags.

8. At revealing of signs of infringement of functioning of an injector it is necessary to take advantage of a special lamp-sampler (ask in shops of automobile accessories). The lamp is connected to an electric socket of a suspected injector. Start the engine and test a lamp all injectors. The uniform blinking of a lamp confirms serviceability of functioning of a component. Otherwise the car should be driven away on a car repair shop for more detailed diagnostics.
9. Muffle the engine, disunite electric sockets of injectors and measure electric resistance of each of them. Compare results of measurements to standard requirements, - demanded value makes 12 16 Ohm. Faulty injectors are subject to replacement.
10. Check up self-diagnostics system on presence of codes of malfunction stored in its memory (see the Head of the Control system of the engine).
11. It is necessary to charge performance of more detailed diagnostics of a condition of system to experts of the car-care centre, having all (expensive enough) equipment necessary for it.
