1. Remove the gauge of position of a camshaft.
2. Remove ignition coils.
3. Uncover heads of cylinders with sealing linings. |
| 4. In regular intervals, in stages, in strictly certain order, ослабьте bolts of fastening of covers of support of an inlet camshaft. |

| 5. Remove covers of support and take from a head an inlet camshaft. |
6. Operating in a similar manner, remove a final camshaft.

Camshafts
|
|
|
|
| 1. Measure size of a deflection of a camshaft. Compare results of measurement to requirements of Specifications in case of need make проточку a shaft, or its replacement. |
|
2. Check up подшипниковые shaft necks on presence of signs of deterioration and mechanical damages. In case of need make replacement.
3. Measure external diameter of necks of a shaft and internal diameter of corresponding bearings in a head. By subtraction of result of the first measurement from result of the second define size of a working backlash of bearings. Compare results of calculations to requirements of Specifications in case of need replace a shaft, or a head.

On models DOHC definition of sizes of working backlashes in bearings is made by means of the special calibrated plastic wire (set Plastigage), - follow instructions of manufacturers, do not apply any greasing, fixture tighten with demanded effort, levers of a drive of valves do not establish. |
|
| 4. Estimate a condition of working surfaces of cams of a shaft. Minor defects can be eliminated by means of an emery paper. Measure height of cams. Compare results of measurements to requirements of Specifications, in case of need replace a shaft. |
|
| 5. With the help циферблатного a measuring instrument плунжерного type define size axial люфта camshafts. Compare results of measurements to requirements of Specifications, in case of need replace a support of a shaft (engines SOHC), or heads complete with covers of basic bearings (engines DOHC). |

1. Develop the engine at the stand the left head of cylinders upwards. Fill nests under landing of hydroproof-readers клапанных backlashes pure impellent the small.

At filling of nests with oil the head should be strictly in horizontal position, combustion chambers downwards to exclude probability of hit of air in a cavity of a regulator of pressure of oil after installation of the hydroproof-reader. |
2. Taking hydroproof-readers from an oil bath, establish them strictly on the former places. Try not to suppose air hit in assemblages in the course of installation.
3. Plant support of levers of a drive of valves on the regular places and fix their lock rings.
4. Establish одноплечие levers of a drive of valves: one end of the lever is put on a spherical support, another - on a valve core. |

2. Establish covers of basic bearings of a camshaft, preliminary having greased their interfaced surfaces with liquid hermetic of type Three-bond 1215.

The remark: Covers should be established according to the identification marks put on them. |
3. In stages (a minimum in 2), in strictly certain order, tighten bolts of fastening of covers of bearings of camshafts with demanded effort.
4. Having tightened fixture of support of both shaft, manually check up freedom of rotation of the last in bearings, - turn shaft on a small corner so that valves remained closed.
5. With konsistentnoj greasing grease sealing sponges of new sealing cuffs and запрессуйте the last in the landing nests in forward support of camshafts. |

At installation of sealing linings of covers of heads of cylinders liquid hermetic is put on their specified sites пости

|
1. Establish covers of a head of cylinders, - on four opened edges of a sealing lining put are liquid hermetic of type Three-bond 1215. Track, that at installation of covers there was no displacement of linings.
2. Plant in covers of a head of cylinders rubber a sealing lining and establish ignition coils.
3. Establish the gauge of position of a camshaft.
4. Installation of the remained components is made as it should be the return to an order of their dismantle (corresponding Sections of the Management see). |
