Check of pressure of oil

Oil pressure drop can be considered as a sign of that the engine requires regenerative repair. The control lamp of pressure of oil is not among the diagnostic equipment supervising a condition of system of greasing, and only informs the driver on dangerous decrease in oil pressure. Even built in the panel of devices a measuring instrument of pressure of oil, despite the big detail of the given out information, it is possible to consider only as the device of information character. For data acquisition about pressure of oil which then can be compared to requirements of Specifications it is necessary to take advantage mechanical (not of the electric!) a manometre complete with an exact tachometre.

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Find the block of the gauge-switch of pressure of oil.
2. Remove the gauge-switch and establish instead of it a transitive nozzle for connection of a mechanical manometre. For hermetic sealing of carving connection of a nozzle take advantage of a sealing tape from teflon, or tape ФУМ.
3. According to instructions of manufacturers connect to the engine an exact tachometre.
4. Check up pressure of oil at working on the turns stipulated in Specifications the heated-up engine to normal working temperature. Compare results of measurements to standard requirements. At excessively low pressure it is necessary to estimate degree of deterioration of bearings and-or the oil pump.
