Check of serviceability of functioning of a starter and start chain

Before to start check of a condition of a starter make sure of completeness of a charge of the battery.

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. If the starter does not rotate at ignition key turn in position START, first of all make sure that the selector lever is in position “Р” or “N” (models with АТ) / in completeness of squeezing of coupling (model with РКПП).
2. Check up level of a charge of the battery, estimate a condition and reliability of fastening of contact plugs of the battery and a starter.
3. If the starter rotates regularly, however the engine does not turn, it is necessary to replace assemblage of a drive with обгонной муфтой.
4. If the starter is not turned despite a serviceable clicking of the traction relay, the cause of a failure can be covered in malfunction of a condition of the storage battery, oxidation of the main contact plugs of a starter, or failure actually the electromotor стартерной assemblages. 6. For check of the traction relay establish a wire-crosspiece between the positive plug of the battery and the plug of the switch of ignition (the small size) on assemblage of the magnetic actuator. If this time the starter starts to rotate, hence, the traction relay as it should be and should be passed to check of a condition of the switch of ignition, the gauge-switch of the permission of start/disconnection of a chain of a starter and connecting electroconducting.
7. If direct giving of a food on the magnetic actuator does not lead to starter operation, remove assemblage of the traction relay and make its dismantle, check and regenerative repair.
8. If the starter is turned too slowly, first of all, make sure of completeness of level of a charge of the battery and reliability of fastening of contact plugs of connecting electroconducting. Partial jamming of the engine, no less than refuelling by its excessively dense oil also can be at the bottom of the given infringement.
9. Start the engine and warm up it to normal working temperature, then disunite contact sockets of electroconducting primary (НВ) a contour on bobbin assemblages.
10. Connect a positive wire of the voltmeter to the positive plug of the battery, negative - to negative.
11. Turn the engine a starter (not боле than 15 seconds on end) and consider indications from the voltmeter right after from stabilisation.
