Assemblage of coils of ignition - the general information, check of a condition and replacement
The general information
|
Ignition coils serve for transformation of pressure of the battery to pressure of ignition and its delivery in the form of ВВ an impulse in a secondary contour of system. When the ignition module provides switching-off of giving of a current in a primary winding of the coil, magnetic field turning induces pressure in its secondary winding. The developed current from the plug (2) secondary contours of the coil on ВВ to a wire moves on spark plugs of the corresponding pair cylinders where the created potential difference provides "breakdown" of interelectrode backlashes on weight. As already it was mentioned above искрообразование occurs simultaneously in the shock-absorber of cylinders, - in the ends of steps of compression (a working spark) and release (a single spark). |
Check
Check of coils of ignition

1. At the switched off ignition disconnect electroconducting from bobbin assemblage. Connect an ohmmeter between plugs of a primary contour (1) - (2) and (2) - (3). Compare results of measurements to requirements of Specifications.
2. Repeat check, connecting an ohmmeter to plugs of a secondary contour () - () and () - (D).
3. Estimate also an isolation condition, having measured resistance between the primary plug and the assemblage case (demanded value makes not less than 10 МОм).
4. The faulty coil is subject to replacement. |

Replacement

1. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.
|
If the stereosystem established on the car is equipped by a security code before to disconnect the battery make sure that have a correct combination for audiosystem input in action! |
2. Preliminary having marked, disconnect electroconducting from bobbin assemblage. |
3. Turn out fixing bolts and remove bobbin assemblage. |
|
4. Installation is made upside-down, - fixing bolts tighten with demanded effort (22 Nanometers). Track correctness of connection of electroconducting, - the error at connection can lead to an exit of bobbin assemblage out of operation! |
