Removal and installation of the main brake cylinder

Failed ГТЦ is subject to replacement. Manufacturers do not recommend to undertake attempt of carrying out of regenerative repair of the main brake cylinder.

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Typical design ГТЦ for equipment ABS of models is presented on an accompanying illustration. Pump out a brake liquid from tank GTTS.
2. Disconnect electroconducting from the gauge-switch of a control lamp of level of a brake liquid.
3. Enclose rags under штуцерные connections and prepare caps or polyethylene packages for закупоривания the open ends of brake lines for the purpose of hit prevention in brake system of a dirt.

The brake liquid is among aggressive chemical compounds and at contact with кузовными panels destroys a paint and varnish covering. Before to start procedure performance cover wings and the panel передка the car with special covers, or simply old blankets.

5. Give nuts of fastening ГТЦ. Remove assemblage of the main cylinder from the vacuum amplifier of brakes and take it from an impellent compartment.
6. Uncover tank GTTS and merge a brake liquid remaining inside in the prepared capacity.
7. After replacement ГТЦ all hydraulic path is subject to prorolling, thus затрачивание time can be reduced to prorolling at the expense of preliminary filling of the main cylinder and its prorolling on a workbench before installation (see more low).
8. For convenience clamp a landing flange of the cylinder in a vice with soft sponges and fill in in assemblage a fresh brake liquid.
9. Densely having pressed fingers to apertures under fastening of brake lines in avoidance подсасывания in air cylinder.
10. Slowly push pistons in the cylinder (it will be most convenient to take advantage of the big screw-driver with a crosswise sting), - air should start to leave delivery chambers in the tank. It is thus important, that the ends of both tubes have been completely shipped in a brake liquid being in the tank to exclude probability подсасывания air back in the cylinder at release pistons.
11. Continue prorolling until the liquid pushed out through tubes completely will not be released from air bubbles.
12. Installation is made upside-down.
13. Having finished, pump over a hydraulic path. Before to start car operation, make sure of serviceability of functioning of brakes.
