Removal and installation of components SRS

The management module (ECU)

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Make switching-off SRS (the Section System of additional safety (SRS) - the device and a functioning principle see).
2. The management module is located under a cover in a forward part of the central console.
3. Remove the left bottom section of furnish of the panel of devices.

4. Disconnect electroconducting of the module of a driver's pillow of safety, - contact sockets АВ3 and АВ8 in the basis of a steering column.

Electroconducting SRS is easy for defining on bright yellow colour of isolation.

5. Remove a console box.
6. Disconnect electroconducting from the module of management SRS.

7. Operating strictly in a certain order, release bolts of fastening of the module of management SRS (bolts are equipped by heads of type TORX).

8. Accurately remove ECU SRS.
9. Installation is made upside-down. Track, that NEW bolts of fastening of the module have been tightened with demanded effort.
10. Make sure of reliability of fixing of contact sockets, then activate SRS (the Section System of additional safety (SRS) - the device and a functioning principle see).

Spring cable drum

Gauges of forward pillows of safety

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Disconnect SRS (the Section System of additional safety (SRS) - the device and a functioning principle see).
2. Remove a corresponding forward wheel and локер protection of its arch.
3. Disconnect electroconducting from the gauge of a forward pillow of safety.
4. Give two fixing nuts and remove the gauge.
5. Installation is made upside-down. Track, that all fixture has been tightened with demanded effort.
6. In summary activate SRS and make sure of serviceability of operation of its control lamp (the Section System of additional safety (SRS) - the device and a functioning principle see).

The module of a forward passenger pillow of safety

PERFORMANCE ORDER


1. Disconnect SRS (the Section System of additional safety (SRS) - the device and a functioning principle see). 2. Remove assemblage of a ware box. 3. Disconnect electroconducting of the module of a passenger pillow (yellow isolation).
4. Turn out 7 fixing bolts and accurately remove the module of a pillow of safety.
5. Installation is made upside-down. Track, that NEW bolts of fastening of the module have been tightened with demanded effort. 6. Make sure of reliability of fixing of contact sockets, then activate SRS (the Section System of additional safety (SRS) - the device and a functioning principle see).

Lateral pillows of safety

Modules of lateral pillows are built in in backs of forward seats and in case of need replaced in gathering with the last.

Gauges of lateral pillows of safety

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Disconnect SRS (the Section System of additional safety (SRS) - the device and a functioning principle see).
2. Remove the panel of furnish of a corresponding lobby of a rack.
3. Turn out two fixing bolts and remove the gauge.
4. Installation is made upside-down. Track, that the fixture has been tightened with demanded effort.
5. Activate SRS and make sure of serviceability of operation of its control lamp (the Section System of additional safety (SRS) - the device and a functioning principle see).
