Removal and installation of the steering pump

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.

If the stereosystem established on the car is equipped by a security code before to disconnect the battery make sure that have a correct combination for audiosystem input in action!

2. Merge about 3 l of a hydraulic liquid.
3. Release, but do not give a nut of fastening of a pulley of a drive of the steering pump.
4. Loosen the приводные belts.
5. Remove a pulley.
6. With the help of pair wrenches disconnect hydraulic hoses from a wall of tank GUR and the steering pump, - at once закупорьте opened штуцерные connections.
7. Turn out three bolts of fastening of the steering pump to the basic arm.
8. Remove the pump in gathering with the tank. In case of need remove a basic arm.
9. Clamp pump assemblage in a vice with soft sponges. Remove the tank and disconnect from the pump a hydraulic hose.

All sealing rings штуцерных connections are subject to replacement without fail!

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. If removed, establish on the regular place on the engine a basic arm of the steering pump.
2. By means of two keys connect to the pump a hydraulic hose, - do not forget to replace a sealing ring.
3. Establish on the pump the tank of a hydraulic liquid.
4. Installation is made upside-down.
5. In summary fill in in the tank necessary quantity of a hydraulic liquid of a demanded grade (Routine maintenance see the Head) connect a negative wire to the battery and pump over system of hydrostrengthening of a wheel (the Section Prorolling of a hydraulic path of a steering drive see) - watch, that liquid level in the tank did not fall below an admissible limit.
