Adjustment of geometry of a suspension bracket

Road gleam

Before to start adjustments of corners of installation of wheels it is necessary to check up correctness of adjustment of a road gleam of the car.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Tyre out the car on an equal horizontal platform with a firm covering, establish forward wheels in rectilinear position.
2. Make sure of completeness of refuelling of a fuel tank.
3. Check up correctness of a rating of tyres.
4. For усадки suspension bracket components some times rock the car.
5. Visually estimate uniformity of distribution of a road gleam on length and width of a vehicle. In case of revealing of discrepancies make sure of absence in salon and a luggage space of heavy subjects.
6. Measure distance from an axis of each of wheels to the top point of a wheel arch. Compare results of measurement to requirements of Specifications - in case of need check up a condition of components of a suspension bracket, replace the failed or worn out details.

As disorder is called the angle of slope of a plane of wheels concerning a vertical. If wheels are inclined by upper edges outside, disorder is called as positive, and on the contrary. The disorder size is measured in degrees. Correctness of adjustment of disorder defines size and position of a stain of contact of protectors with road and allows to compensate changes in geometry of a suspension bracket during fulfilment of turns and at car movement on a rough road covering.

1. Loosen the both bolts of fastening of the bottom support of a rack of a suspension bracket.
2. Disorder adjustment is made by rotation of the top bolt of fastening of the bottom support of a rack, - the bolt has эксцентриковую a head that allows to change a rack angle of slope.
3. Having finished adjustment, tighten fixture with demanded effort.

Самоконтрящиеся nuts are subject to replacement without fail!

Disorder of back wheels

PERFORMANCE ORDER


1. Disorder of back wheels is regulated on separate models by means of an eccentric bolt.
2. The deviation of disorder of back wheels from rating value (Specifications see) demands check of geometry of a frame of the car. The probability of damage of cross-section levers of a back suspension bracket, and also deterioration of racks, screw springs and резинометаллических plugs is not excluded also.

3. Develop forward wheels of the car in rectilinear position and block a steering column.
4. Loosen the counternuts of tips of both steering draughts.
5. Convergence adjustment is carried out by rotation of tips of steering draughts in a corresponding direction, - tips of both draughts should be turned strictly on an identical corner!
6. Having finished adjustment, tighten counternuts of tips of draughts with demanded effort.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Loosen the an adjusting bolt on the back cross-section lever of a suspension bracket.
2. Rotation эксцентрикового an adjusting bolt clockwise leads to increase in a divergence of wheels, clockwise, - to convergence increase.
3. Having finished adjustment, tighten fixture with demanded effort.
